Goodenough Gismo

  • Gismo39
This is the classic children's book, Goodenough Gismo, by Richmond I. Kelsey, published in 1948. Nearly unavailable in libraries and the collector's market, it is posted here with love as an "orphan work" so that it may be seen and appreciated -- and perhaps even republished, as it deserves to be. After you read this book, it won't surprise you to learn that Richmond Irwin Kelsey (1905-1987) was an accomplished artist, or that as Dick Kelsey, he was one of the great Disney art directors, breaking your heart with "Pinocchio," "Dumbo," and "Bambi."

Watch out, Michele's
On 'The View'!

LOL! Bravo, Ron!

Although the picture of Nancy Pelosi going into a dance is something I'm going to have to wash quickly out of my mind's eye.

Donna B.

Brilliant. I'm in awe! And would like to see a video of a performance of this.

I second Donna B's words. Typical Ron brilliance.

Ron, there's your next assignment! YouTube, here I come!

You want to see me sing? You might be better off with Pelosi pole dancing than my singing!

Fear not; other songs are percolating in my head!

Donna B.

ohno! No more mental images of Pelosi dancing. With or without use of props! NO!
