Goodenough Gismo

  • Gismo39
This is the classic children's book, Goodenough Gismo, by Richmond I. Kelsey, published in 1948. Nearly unavailable in libraries and the collector's market, it is posted here with love as an "orphan work" so that it may be seen and appreciated -- and perhaps even republished, as it deserves to be. After you read this book, it won't surprise you to learn that Richmond Irwin Kelsey (1905-1987) was an accomplished artist, or that as Dick Kelsey, he was one of the great Disney art directors, breaking your heart with "Pinocchio," "Dumbo," and "Bambi."

What drugs will it take to catch Barry Bonds?

Start with the Clear and the Cream. Work your way up to HGH slowly. And don't forget the Creatine!

Tom Strong

Well, it sure didn't lead to longevity, but the Babe Ruth regimen had both pleasure and glory going for it.

Ruth Anne

You could eat a Baby Ruth bar. Or a Maris bar [Mars bar]. Or just visit a bar.

Or you could hum a few bars and fake it....

Many happy returns of the day! May you live and be well.

I know more old drunks than old doctors.

Just sayin'

Happy bidet!

Happy Birthday!

But you'll need more than drugs to catch Bonds. I read recently that his lifetime earnings are over $170 million.

And I vote in favor of the Babe Ruth regimen.

Tom Strong

Oh, and now that I can say it:

Happy 61!

(or should that be 61*?)

I'll take that asterisk, Tom.

Happy birthday! Enjoy.

Thanks, Ali!

I've been waiting for today- but, i thought it was still the 11th and almost didn't post this:

*****%%%%HAPPY BIRTHDAY%%%%******

You are loved muchly.

Barry Bonds is soooo over-rated.

Thanks Karen . . . I still don't know what the Babe Ruth regimen is . . . haven't had time to find out!

Seth Chalmer

Belatedly: happy birthday!

Thank you, Seth!
