Goodenough Gismo

  • Gismo39
This is the classic children's book, Goodenough Gismo, by Richmond I. Kelsey, published in 1948. Nearly unavailable in libraries and the collector's market, it is posted here with love as an "orphan work" so that it may be seen and appreciated -- and perhaps even republished, as it deserves to be. After you read this book, it won't surprise you to learn that Richmond Irwin Kelsey (1905-1987) was an accomplished artist, or that as Dick Kelsey, he was one of the great Disney art directors, breaking your heart with "Pinocchio," "Dumbo," and "Bambi."

Blogs I love and/or learn from

« On Their Knees: The New Teen-Age Sexual Culture | Main | This is the title of this blog post. »

After months of helpful comments on my blog, some of them a bit contrary, my wife is experimenting with her own blog. We haven't had a mutual cross-post yet, but it is only a matter of time. I don't think it will come between us.

Separate blogs, one podcast - Instapundit and Dr. Helen:

One other couple blog of which I'm aware:

Jay and Deb seem to each do their own thing, rarely interacting, with their common interest being their baby.

If blogging in the bedroom becomes commonplace, lets hope it is an adjunct and not a replacement for face-to-face communication and touchy-feely relationships.

I go to MoltenThought often and got to *watch* the evolution of their relation bloom to marriage. They blog together and, although posts are seperate, they are interactive w/ eachother. They do *he said/she said* posts, too.

It's a very conservative site- w/bite.
