The Washington Note says John Bolton testified before the Plame-Retardant grand jury about that State Deparment memo with the "Top Secret" paragraph about Valerie Wilson. Also that "John Bolton was a regular source for Judith Miller's New York Times WMD and national security reports."
Hah...wouldn't it be funny if the Bushites decided to bundle all their scapegoats into one failed basket...blame the whole Plame affair on Bolton, who wasn't going to make it into the UN job anyway.
That would be a bait & switch worthy of Rove ;)

What a potential bombshell it would be if it turns out that Bolton is Miller's major source, that she's in jail because, unlike Rove, he didn't free the reporter who was shielding him from her pledge of confidentiality. The added irony is that Miller never published what her sources--whoever they may be--gave her.
