Robert Byrd (who is 91) had some kind of health issue (just overcome by emotion, they say now); and then Teddy Kennedy went into a violent seizure.


It would be poignantly ironic if Kennedy lived just long enough to see Obama sworn in and that was it.

As politicians, I wasn't fond of Kennedy's or Byrd's goals and I found it odd that their past sins were forgiven so easily, but as men, I do not wish them pain or suffering.
